Custom Ultimate Manual Pack Station (MPS-300)

First, the client wanted a Serialization and aggregation system that could run Serialized and Non-Serialized products. Be able to print using thermal transfer printers and inspect all the online printed information while they comply with the serialization and aggregation regulations. Another important thing was to be able to use different types and sizes of labels, that need to use different ribbons to be able to print clearly.

This station needed to be very compact so they could be portable and easy to move to different packaging lines and be able to be integrated with the existing spaces available. The machine will run as a printing and inspection station for all the products on the line. Another challenge is the need to handle 3 different label sizes in the case label inspection area (third printer), while it will run the same label in the carton print inspection (first and second printers). This will add some difficulties to the design due to the limitation of space.

For this Mobile Station, we needed to design a specific mechanism to put the printers in the small space available. Also, have the capacity to change or replace the materials and have available all the components necessary to complete the verification and comply with the aggregation process.
