Ultimate Solutions USA, a global leader in validation, serialization, industrial automation, and compliance for the Life Sciences Industry, held its official grand opening ceremony at its new office and Systech/Cognex Training Center in Gahanna, Ohio on August 3, 2023.
This new location in the Columbus Region, with an initial investment of over $300,000 and at least 30 full-time jobs, will allow the company to strengthen its ties with clients developing projects in the area and attract new ones in the field of Life Science Industry.
“Our global expertise in Advance Machine Vision Manufacturing, Serialization, Packaging Intelligence, and Industrial Automation combined with our Regulatory and Validation knowledge has given us the opportunity to establish a new U.S. office to support our growth strategy and expand our operational footprint,” said Yoel Rivera, president of Ultimate Solutions USA.
“Central Ohio’s development strategy presented the ideal place for Ultimate Solutions to expand in the USA. The Open House marked this milestone and showcased our commitment to continue being key players for innovation in the industry and creating value for our customers, the industry, the community, and our employees. This event was also a celebration to everyone that contributed to us being here today”, said Carmen Rodríguez, Business Manager Ultimate Solutions USA.
The event featured an official ribbon cutting, conducted by Brad Fisher, Executive Director of the Gahanna Area Chamber of Commerce, and in which Rivera and his family participated, as well as Ultimate Solutions team: Larissa Nieves, Executive VP; Carlos Castro, Global Account Manager, and Rodríguez.
“Opening this office gives me a bittersweet taste. We closed the Louisville, Kentucky office and this new facility was planned for North Carolina but then we decided on Ohio. There are many adjustments that we must make along the way, but this is precisely what I want to share… we have always had the flexibility to adjust course and make changes to achieve our goals”, said Rivera as part of his emotional speech.
“We think this is the most special ribbon cutting we’ve been to yet, the emotions… was really kind of the undercurrent of today, the family togetherness that the owners and the leadership team of Ultimate Solutions share…”, said Laurie Jadwin, Mayor of Gahanna.
“Our focus really has been to drive economic growth in the city and trying to attract businesses that really can enhance our business landscape and create strong jobs opportunities and Ultimate Solutions checked all those boxes for us”, said Jadwin.
The company established a flex warehouse and office space at 845 Claycraft Road in Gahanna, adding operational capacity to meet new business demands and serving as a showcase space for prospective clients and talent. Also,the new facilities have a training center with the latest technologies from our partners Systech and Cognex to educate resources and customers. With this expansion, Ultimate Solutions is deepening its domestic roots, expanding its market access, and investing in tenant improvements as well as building IT, and training costs.
The event was attended by members of the Government of Gahanna, employees of Ultimate Solutions USA & Puerto Rico, partners, suppliers, and customers. After the official ceremony, they had a tour of the new facilities and networking.
