Ultimate Solutions employees and family members gathered on June 10, 2023 at Hacienda La Esperanza in Manatí, Puerto Rico, to carry out their annual reforestation activity.
This activity is part of the Company’s Sustainability Policy and is carried out for the second consecutive year with the non-profit organization Para La Naturaleza.
At the Hacienda, attendees had the opportunity to learn about the maintenance of seeds and the care of trees prior to being planted. In addition, the team carried out tasks of filling bags with soil where the seeds would be planted and cleaning the area where the trees that are ready for planting grow.
Approximately 5,000 native trees were cleared, and 140 bags of soil were filled.
Ultimate Solutions is working with various programs related to the environment such as reforestation, composting and recycling. In 2022, the Ultimate Solutions team planted some 1,200 native trees in the same area in Manatí.
