Yoel Rivera is an industrial engineer, graduated from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus.
Today, with over 15 years of experience, he runs his company Ultimate Solutions Corp., dedicated to offering packaging solutions: integrated packaging industrial automation, serialization, and compliance for the life sciences industries. The company has about 100 employees.
In 2013, Ultimate Solutions Corp. signed a partnership agreement with Systech International to deliver Serialization Implementations around the world: Puerto Rico, United States, Europe, and Asia.
But the vision of optimizing the service to its customers was not there. In 2015, Ultimate Solutions Corp. joined with AutoPak Engineering to create a brand protection division called Upak Global.
That year they were the first to create and develop a serialization machine in Puerto Rico and now has just released the first machine in the world, also made in Caguas, capable of serializing and authenticating products at the same time.
The Ultimate Solutions new business division has had impressive results in a short time: standard machines manufactured in 8 to 12 weeks including all the documentation necessary for serialization and validation protocols ready to be executed by the client.
The entrepreneurial spirit of Yoel Rivera has allowed him to have multiple awards such as the Outstanding Incubator Client of the National Business Incubation Association in Boston and Entrepreneur of the Year of the Puerto Rico Manufacturers Association in 2012.
He recently developed an Academy in its facilities in order to train its employees and customers in the field of packaging and all its aspects. This Academy is certified by Colegio de Ingenieros y Agrimensores en Puerto Rico.
Yoel’s future plans are to continue to expand its services in the United States, Europe, and South America and continue to contribute to strengthening entrepreneurship in Puerto Rico.
