Ultimate Solutions will expand its Academy

Ultimate Solutions will expand its academy, U-Academy, with new facilities located in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.

This expansion will allow, among other things, the launch of new programs in industrial automation, artificial intelligence vision system inspections, and robotics; increase training spaces by 40% and certify more Subject Matter Expert (SME) instructors to meet the growing needs of the Life Sciences Industry.

These works at the academy began at the end of 2024 and part of them are subsidized by the 21st Century Techforce program of the Puerto Rico Department of Economic Development (DDEC).

This DDEC initiative seeks to double talent with training to improve technology and science skills. The objective is the development of critical technical skills necessary for the growth of the Life Sciences Industry. Some proposals focus on training in automation and robotics systems, to increase the number of participants trained annually and strengthen the capabilities of the local industry.

At the Academy’s first facility, located at Ultimate Solutions’ headquarters in Caguas, more study and practice stations will be added, while in Aguadilla a building is being conditioned that will promote all this theoretical and practical education for clients in the western part of the Island.

U-Academy was founded in 2010 and was created to address the shortage of specialized technical talent. Today, U-Academy has become a key resource for professional development in Automation, Robotics, Vision and Inspection Systems, Serialization and Regulatory Compliance, meeting growing market demands and adapting to new technologies.

All courses have theoretical training (40%), practical training (60%) and practical experience in laboratory stations replicated in Puerto Rico, the United States and Spain.

U-Academy, certified by the College of Engineers and Surveyors of Puerto Rico, collaborates with leading companies, organizations, and academic institutions to offer training that addresses the needs of the industry, supported by innovative technologies. Our key partners include Rockwell Automation, Systech, Cognex, and Fanuc, who provide advanced tools, certify our trainers, and support our training programs.
